have you ever noticed any bands/musical artists that overall you really just don't like, or even actively dislike/hate, but out of freaking nowhere they have this one song that is just so awesome it makes you wonder where in the hell they got it, and why they weren't able to go to that place again for equally good songs?
i have two personal examples:.
hotel california, the eagles.
Eagles were just so-so on my list but could never stand "The Long Run". Do like "Victim of Love" however.
Never really cared for Thin Lizzy 'ceptin' for "The Cowboy Song".
Have always loved the Stones. Never liked "Satisfaction". Quite the boring song that one.

after a great chinese dinner last night, we received our traditional fortune cookie for desert.. for those of you that have never had chinese food, its a cute little cookie, with a small typed message inside promoting good fortune.
how they get the message 'in' the cookie is a wonder in itself.
on the back side of the message are your lucky numbers.
Never got an empty fortune cookie but I did get a fortune cookie where the slip had absolutely nothing on it. Make of it what you will but both good and bad things have happened since.
I was taught that witnesses were not to indulge in the reading of fortune cookies...be they blank or not.

i never was a big fan of the show, probably because it was on a meeting night, but it was a very popular show.. i loved hill street blues, taxi, all in the family, the rifleman, even superman!
i wished those shows never stopped!.

i have been reading the book in search of christian freedom by r franz.i just finished the chapter on the house to house ministry....unbelieveble.
he shows a totally different way of explaining the scriptures.i never realized how much the gb slants every thing to it's teachings.they need the nwt to do this.if you haven't read this book,you really should.what i'm wondering if you have read it,what stands out for you.....
